    Senior Software Engineer

    Led the development of multi-tenant web applications for issuing electronic documents such as NF-e, NF3-e, CT-e, and NFCom. The main activities were: • Spearheaded the development of the utility invoice document NF3-e) issuing product from scratch, utilizing an event-oriented microservices architecture, starting issuing over 4 million documents per month for a major utility customer in Brazil • Migrated the RabbitMQ message broker to Solace PubSub+ in a product with dozens of microservices and around 30 million messages per month with zero downtime • Led the task force to update all microservices and libraries to comply with security standards using the Mend tool (formerly WhiteSource) • Conducted code reviews focused on clean code practices, adherence to design patterns, and ensuring software quality • Implemented code checking tool (Checkstyle) to ensure adherence to coding standards, significantly reducing the time spent on code reviews by the development team • Mentored junior developers and provided leadership within Scrum teams of 3 or more people by setting positive examples • Acted as the key contact in the developer team for the support team, POs, and management to respond to critical production failures (very high incidents) and fixed them within the prescribed SLAs • Engaged in weekend shifts to provide support for the product and promptly resolve any issues, ensuring uninterrupted operations for the clients • Designed and implemented a file storage service to support download of thousands of files and store any type of file • Designed and implemented a new way to manage government web service URLs, eliminating the need for hardcoding in the source code and releasing a new version
