Neurone Recruitment Pty Ltd (“NEURONE”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an Australian recruitment agency headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, with an operational branch office in Bali, Indonesia.
We provide:
- Recruitment and talent pooling services (employer-paid)
- Optional career coaching services (candidate-paid, under separate agreement)
We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Where applicable, our recruitment activities in Western Australia operate in accordance with the Employment Agents Act 1976.

In limited cases, we may collect sensitive information (e.g., health or criminal history) where required for a specific role and permitted by law.
From Clients
We may collect:

From Website Users

HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
We collect information:
- Directly from you via our website and Talent Pool registration
- Through Insightly CRM (our recruitment management system)
- Via email, phone, and online forms
- From referees you provide
- From publicly available sources (e.g., LinkedIn)
- From clients during recruitment processes
Where reasonable and practicable, we collect information directly from you.
WHY WE COLLECT AND USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We collect and use Personal Information to:
Recruitment Activities
- Assess suitability for employment opportunities
- Introduce candidates to prospective employers (“Introduction”)
- Arrange interviews
- Conduct reference checks
- Facilitate placements
Talent Pool Management
- Maintain candidate profiles
- Contact candidates about future roles
Career Coaching Services
Where you separately engage paid coaching services, your information is used to deliver those services under a separate agreement.
Participation in paid coaching does not guarantee employment outcomes and does not prioritise you in recruitment processes.
Legal and Business Purposes

- Protect our contractual rights

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may disclose Personal Information to:
- Prospective employers (Clients) for recruitment purposes
- Referees (with your consent where required)

We do not sell Personal Information.
OVERSEAS DISCLOSURE AND CROSS-BORDER ACCESS
Due to our operational structure:
- Our Bali, Indonesia branch staff have authorised access to our CRM.
- Our CRM provider, Insightly, may host data on servers located outside Australia.
- Some Clients may be located overseas.
As a result, your Personal Information may be accessed, stored, or processed outside Australia.
By registering in our Talent Pool or engaging our services, you acknowledge and consent to this overseas disclosure.
We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle Personal Information in a manner consistent with Australian privacy obligations.
DATA RETENTION
We retain Personal Information only as long as reasonably necessary.
Standard Candidate Retention
Candidate data is retained for up to:
Five (5) years from the date of last meaningful interaction, unless you request earlier removal.
“Meaningful interaction” includes:
- Applying for a role
- Updating your profile
- Participating in interviews
- Responding to communication
Placed Candidates
Where you are placed with a Client, certain records may be retained for up to seven (7) years to protect contractual and legal rights.
Withdrawal
You may request removal from our Talent Pool at any time (see Section 11).
We may retain minimal records necessary to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Enforce contractual rights
- Document prior Introductions
SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We implement reasonable safeguards including:
- Restricted CRM access controls
- Password-protected systems
- Staff confidentiality obligations
- Controlled branch access
- Secure cloud-based data management
While we take reasonable steps, no system is completely secure.
COOKIES AND WEBSITE TECHNOLOGIES
