One of our prestigious client, a leading roofing and restoration company in Brisbane, is sourcing a hardworking and reliable Roofing Labourer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for candidates who are physically fit, safety-focused, and ready to support qualified tradespeople in delivering high-quality roof restoration work.

About the Role:

You will install, repair, and maintain roof tiles, ensuring roofs are weatherproof, secure, and finished to a high standard while working safely at heights.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will assist with the full roof restoration process, including:

• Setting up safety equipment (harnesses, guard rails)
• High-pressure cleaning of roofs, gutters, and downpipes
• Preparing roof surfaces (masking skylights, solar panels, etc.)
• Assisting with minor repairs (re-pointing, replacing tiles)
• Loading/unloading equipment and materials
• Maintaining clean work sites and equipment
• Fabricates and installs gutters and downpipes
• Applies waterproofing materials to roofs and walls

What We Are Looking For:

Requirements:
To be shortlisted, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Valid Driver’s Licence (manual licence highly preferred)
• White Card (or willingness to obtain immediately)
• Working at Heights Ticket (or willingness to obtain immediately)
• Physically Fit: Capable of heavy lifting, outdoor work, and comfortable working at heights
• Previous experience in tile roofing is essential

Desired Attributes
We are looking for candidates who are:

• Possession of a valid English language certificate is mandatory, with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and no individual component scoring below 5.0 on the IELTS test.
• Successful completion of a Skill Assessment from the appropriate Australian skill assessing authorities (VETASSESS) may be required, contingent on your passport or the location of your placement.
• Opportunity to develop valuable trade skills
• Uniforms provided after probation
