• About the Role: 

As a Pastry Chef your role will be to create desserts that transform events into memorable experiences. Collaborating closely with the team you will skillfully prepare an array of pastries, cakes and sweet treats that are sure to leave a lasting impact on our valued guests.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement creative dessert menus that highlight your expertise and artistic flair.
• Supervise and manage the creation of an assortment of pastries, bread, and desserts, upholding exceptional standards in both quality and presentation.
• Maintain efficient inventory management, continually mindful of cost considerations.
• Evaluate the quality of ingredients and the condition of baking equipment and tools.

Requirements:

• Certificate III/IV in Patisserie
• 2 years or more of relevant experience in the field.
• Prior background in a food service or hospitality setting
• Demonstrated skill in innovative menu creation
• Established competence and comprehension of HACCP regulations
• A valid Skill Assessment outcome from the relevant Australian skill assessing authorities (TRA or VETASSESS) may be required, depending on your passport or the location of your placement.
• A valid English language certificate with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and no less than 5.0 for each component in the IELTS test
