As a Pastry Chef, you’ll be the architect of enchanting desserts that transform ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences. Collaborate with the culinary team to curate a delightful array of pastries, cakes, and confections that leave an indelible mark on our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Craft and execute innovative dessert menus that showcase your artistic flair and expertise.
• Prepare and oversee the production of a variety of pastries, bread, and desserts, maintaining exceptional quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between courses and timely service.
• Controlling the effective storage and stock levels, while constantly being price-aware
• Inspecting the quality of material and condition of equipment and tools used for baking

Requirements:

• Certificate III/IV in Patisserie
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Previous experience within a food service or hospitality venue
• Proven ability in creative menu development
• Proven ability and understanding of HACCP regulations
• Valid Skill Assessment outcome from relevant Australian skill assessing authorities (TRA or VETASSESS) may be necessary based on your passport or placement location.
• A valid English language certificate with a minimum overall score of 5.0 and no less than 5.0 for IELTS in each component
