• About the Role: 

As a motor mechanic, you’ll be tasked with the repair, upkeep, and examination of motor vehicles, along with other internal combustion engines and associated mechanical elements.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and fix mechanical problems in cars, trucks, and SUVs.
• Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and various components, followed by thorough part inspections.
• Reassembling engines and parts after they have been repaired, as well as inspecting and modifying mechanical elements to ensure optimal operation.
• Carry out regular maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
• Perform comprehensive car inspections to find any possible problems and make repair recommendations.

Requirements:

• Attain a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a relevant certification.
• At least two years of experience working as a Motor Mechanic.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology, tools, and techniques.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to work well in a team.

• Having a valid English language certificate is a requirement, with an IELTS test score of at least 6.0 overall and no component falling below 6.0
• Successful completion of a Skill Assessment from the appropriate Australian skill assessing authorities (TRA) may be required, contingent on your passport or the location of your placement.
