• About the Role: 

As a Mining Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in the extraction and processing of minerals, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility. From project planning and design to implementation and monitoring, you’ll be at the forefront of driving progress in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and overseeing the construction of mine shafts, tunnels, and surface facilities.
• Implementing and optimising mining methods and equipment to maximise productivity.
• Monitoring and managing safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
• Collaborating with geologists, environmental scientists, and other stakeholders to mitigate environmental impact and comply with regulations.
• Analysing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements:

• Complete a Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering.
• A minimum of two years of Mining Engineer work experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
