Urgently Needed: Jr CDP Grill Chef – Heritage Hotel, Bridgetown, WA

Our client, a Heritage-listed hotel in Bridgetown, Western Australia, is renowned for its dedication to excellence and innovation in the culinary arts. The hotel hosts events, live entertainment, and dinners, with a strong focus on fresh, locally sourced cuisine, exceptional wines, creative cocktails, outstanding customer service, and providing a memorable experience. They are urgently seeking an experienced and passionate Grill Chef to join their team.

Location: Bridgetown, Western Australia
Salary: A$36 – $43 per hour
Benefit: Superannuation & other benefits

Responsibilities:
-Preparing and cooking meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables on a grill according to established recipes and standards.
-Monitoring grill temperatures and adjusting as necessary to ensure food is cooked properly.
-Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the grill area, including regularly cleaning the grill surface and surrounding area.
-Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.

Requirements:
-a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a related qualification
-Two years minimum of experience in the Grill division.
-Deep proficiency with grilling methods.
-Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
-Proficient in using temperature control grilling tools.
