- About the Role:Â
As an Italian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of traditional and modern Italian dishes. You will work closely with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences and uphold the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a menu that showcases a range of Italian specialties, from antipasti to dolci.
- Select and source fresh, high-quality ingredients to ensure authenticity and flavour.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and hygiene practices.
- Ensure that all dishes meet the expectations of guests and contribute to a memorable dining experience.
- Introduce new recipes and culinary techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting.

Requirements:
- Complete a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Italian Chef in reputable restaurants or hotels.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, including regional specialties and traditional cooking methods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Applicants who need sponsorship must meet the following criteria, in addition to the previously mentioned requirements:
- Possession of a valid English language certificate is mandatory, with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and no individual component scoring below 5.0 in the IELTS test
- Successful completion of a Skill Assessment from the appropriate Australian skill assessing authorities (TRA or VETASSESS) may be necessary, contingent on your passport or the location of your placement.
