CIVIL ENGINEER

• About the Role: 

As a Civil Engineer, you will design, plan, and manage infrastructure and construction projects. You will ensure that project designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards while being delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, including roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbours, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems.
• Conduct investigations and analyse site conditions for construction projects.
• Manage and direct construction operations and maintenance activities at project sites.
• Ensure that projects comply with legal requirements, especially regarding health and safety.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout all project phases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Must have at least 3 years of civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in CAD and other engineering software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Applicants who need sponsorship must meet the following criteria, in addition to the previously mentioned requirements:

• An English language certificate is necessary, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall and no section below 6.0.
• Depending on your passport or where you will be placed, you may need to successfully pass a Skill Assessment from the relevant Australian skill assessing authorities (Engineers Australia).
