• About the Role: 

As a Civil Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, planning, and managing construction projects. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Create and evaluate comprehensive designs for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and water supply systems.
• Perform site inspections to oversee progress, ensure quality standards are met, and address any issues that occur during the construction process.
• Adopt sustainable design and construction methods to reduce environmental impact and enhance the long-term durability of infrastructure.
• Coordinating and managing site labour, as well as overseeing the delivery of construction materials, machinery, and equipment, while developing comprehensive schedules to ensure the seamless coordination of on-site activities.

Requirements:

• Obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working as an civil engineer.
• Demonstrated proficiency in civil engineering principles and methodologies.
• Exhibit a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and experience working effectively in a team.

Applicants who need sponsorship must meet the following criteria, in addition to the previously mentioned requirements:

• Having a valid English language certificate is a requirement, with an IELTS test score of at least 6.0 overall and no component falling below 6.0
• Successful completion of a Skill Assessment from the appropriate Australian skill assessing authorities (Engineers Australia) may be required, depending on the location of your placement.
