• About the Role: 

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes meet the high standards. 

Responsibilities:

• Execute precise and consistent preparation of dishes within your designated section.
• Maintain the highest standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations in all culinary processes.
• Maintain harmony in the kitchen by collaborating closely with the Head Chef and other team members.
• Keep an eye on and control the amount of ingredients at your station to prevent shortages and waste.

Requirements:

• Successful attainment of a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or its equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie for at least two years.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to function well in a busy kitchen situation.
• Successful completion of a Skill Assessment from the appropriate Australian skill assessing authorities (TRA) may be necessary, contingent on your passport or the location of your placement.
• Possession of a valid English language certificate is mandatory, with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and no individual component scoring below 5.0 in the IELTS test.
