• About the Role: 

As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of breakfast dishes with precision and flair. This role requires keen attention to detail, creativity in menu development, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast dishes, including eggs, pancakes, waffles, and more.
• Ensure all dishes are presented to the highest standard and in line with menu specifications.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of breakfast items.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly.
• Adapt recipes and menus based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.

Requirements:

• Complete a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and menu planning.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Applicants who need sponsorship must meet the following criteria, in addition to the previously mentioned requirements:

• A valid English language certificate is required, with a minimum overall IELTS score of 5.5 and no individual component scoring below 5.0.
• Completion of a Skill Assessment from the relevant Australian skill assessing authorities (TRA or VETASSESS) may be required, depending on your passport or the location of your placement.
