About the Role

As a Personal Carer, you will work closely with residents, families, and a supportive team to deliver high-quality care in line with best practice standards. Your role will be essential in ensuring our residents continue to live with dignity, respect, and the highest quality of life.

  • Performing household chores including cleaning and vacuuming
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Offering emotional support, companionship, and meaningful conversation
  • Running errands and handling shopping duties as needed
  • May reside with the client to provide around-the-clock care and support

What We Are Looking For:

  • Professionalism & Empathy – Genuine commitment to supporting residents with kindness and respect.
  • Person-Centred Approach – A deep understanding of individualised care, focusing on resident dignity and autonomy.
  • Compliance & Safety Focus – Strong adherence to clinical procedures and aged care regulations.
  • Positive Team Collaboration – Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive environment that promotes growth and wellbeing for both residents and colleagues.
  • Aged Care Experience – Prior experience in an aged care setting is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • One year experience
  • AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) (or equivalent).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a current National Police Check.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to care duties and workplace needs.
  • Passion for providing person-centred care and maintaining clinical compliance.

For applicants seeking sponsorship, the following criteria must be met in addition to the above:

  • A valid English language certification, such as the IELTS, with no component below 5.0 and an overall score of at least 5.5 is required.
  • You may need to successfully complete a skill assessment administered by the relevant Australian skill assessing authorities (ANMAC), depending on the location of your placement or your passport.
