What is employment sponsorship?

Employment sponsorship is when a company (the employer) supports a foreign worker’s visa application so they can legally work in that country.

To qualify for employment sponsorship in Australia, you generally need relevant skills or experience in an approved occupation, meet English, health, and character requirements, and have an employer willing to sponsor you for a full-time position approved by the government.

No, there is no salary deduction system after starting work, including for employees on sponsorship visas. All employees, including those on sponsored visas, will receive their full salary as agreed in their employment contract.
